The sweetest newborn alone….but then add in the adorable Pomeranian, the stained glass, the wallpaper, the glowing parents - I completely fell for this session.
All about their new sister. Some kids have little interest in the new little living, breathing being that has invaded their space. Not these two. Fighting over who gets to hold her, take the next photo with her, kiss her cheek - it was so heartwarming watching this threesome embrace their new relationship.
Some old friends and some new friends. Thanks again to all the families who joined me for this spring’s mini sessions! And thank you to the weather gods for such beautiful sunny days. I’ll be announcing fall mini sessions dates in early August. Look out for the email and sign up here if you’re not already on the list: http://www.raquelfrechette.com/emailsubscribe
Do you remember your first ever home? Maybe it still exists and you return for holidays and family gatherings or maybe, you only have a few faded photographs that capture the time you spent there. If you’re like me, you love pouring over the details in those photos. Even seemingly minor things like the color of the walls or the pillows on the couch seem to mean so much. I guess who doesn’t love peeking back in time. This family is not far off from a move out of the city. So we spent some time capturing this little man in his first ever home.
Oh Gowanus, how do I love thee. And how much do I love the families who eschew the broken glass and random city detritus to romp with me in this little corner of photography paradise.
