My Newborn Weekend - Part 1
By some stroke of scheduling genius, I had three newborn sessions to look forward to in a 36 hour period - including a session with twins! Spending time with so many little babies in such a short period of time - it's really pretty remarkable. There are few professions that allow for this special access. And that's what it is, incredibly lucky special access to the lives of the world's tiniest humans and their "full of a million emotions" parents. Here's session number one.
Awake!
For most newborn sessions, the period of time when a baby is both awake and totally content is short. It was such a treat to photograph this little guy. Wide eyed and curious for almost our entire session.
The New Kid
Welcomed into one of my favorite families to photograph, here's number 3! I could have sworn he was trying to communicate with me via some form of sign language - check out those fingers!
Three Years, Three Weeks
It's a toss up I think, between the little one's toes and the older one's sweet gaze. Which did I fall for first?
