Looks like I may be out of a job soon. Thanks to the young man in blue for letting me get in a few shots on this gorgeous morning in Prospect Park.
Mother's Day at New York Kids Club
Every year, the fine folks at New York Kids Club throw a party to celebrate the important ladies in our lives. What better way to spend the day revelling in all the mom love than to capture it photobooth style with goofballs, hams and downright adorable kids.
Grandparents, a New Baby Brother and Blue!
She's now three, you see, and this means two things: 1) special visits from her family - who thankfully brought some Florida weather with them, and 2) a birthday party themed after her new best pal. No, not her brother silly! Though she likes him, too.
The First Day
Thanks to a fun idea conjured up by Mom and Dad, I'll be spending the next year documenting this little guy as he grows from baby to toddler. We'll be spending time each month capturing the little milestones that make the first year so special. I'm pleased to report that our "first date" went well. I pulled out the camera and immediate smiles! Let's hope he decides it's cool that I stick around for a while.
Do you see what I see
For a nearly 5 month old, I understand why a camera might be something interesting to look at (and lucky for me it often is). But what, oh what, is over to the right that fascinates you little one? All I see is a wall, or tree trunk, or other static object. Whatever it is, the attention it captures makes my attempts at altering your gaze downright laughable. If only I could make like a tree.
