Staple street - popular location for photoshoots - used to be the alley between an old ship worker's hospital and its corresponding ambulance depot. The bridge that bestrides the two buildings was the passage way to deliver patients from the ambulance to the hospital. This little fact told to me while I was scouting, by a nice guy walking his dog who has lived in the neighborhood since the 60s.

Oh man I love to shoot in this part of town. Bonus when you've got a family who loves to run around it as much as I do.

Have you been in Tribeca lately? They're tearing up the streets down there. Good thing the road closures and construction sites didn't stop these guys.
