They sang songs to soothe the baby - some of the best I've ever head while in the presence of parents. No twinkle twinkle here. Musicals, folks songs, the repertoire was pretty awesome.

I'm a huge advocate of this neighborhood for shoot locations. Great colors, textures and you pretty much have the place to yourself. When thinking about where to hold the session, this family saw a couple of Red Hook shots from the blog that inspired our trip. We hit up some of the same spots, but discovered new ones too. Another thing I love about the neighborhood - lots of surprises.
