A morning in the place they call home. Brooklyn is always showing off for me, I don’t think there’s a neighborhood that I wouldn’t love to photograph.
The last of fall | fort greene family photographer
With winter solstice steadily approaching, some last glimpses of fall. And I was surprised to still see so much color in later November. Thank you Fort Greene Park!
Turn a different corner | dumbo family photographer
So you want to hold a family photo session in Dumbo. You and the thousands of other families, couples, birthday kids, fashionistas, bloggers, and deep-pocketed commercial producers. It’s popular. That goes unsaid. But Dumbo has so much to offer that’s also off the beaten path. If you’re willing to walk down a completely unpopulated street, you might find some surprises. You know this guy? He’s got a mural in Dumbo now, but it’s not at the waterfront (wink).
Toddling through Chinatown | nyc family photographer
Years back we walked the same blocks, taking in Chinatown with photography and bliss. This was before the little plaid wearer was in the picture. During our brief tear through the neighborhood this time around, two things became abundantly certain: 1 - Toddlers love Chinatown and 2 - Bliss expands exponentially when little plaid wearers show up.
Stealing the show | cobble hill family photographer
Oh little boy, you have some major competition with that sister of yours.
