Have you been to the Zucker Exploration Area in Prospect Park? Go. And if that wasn't enough to captivate these kiddos, mom and dad came prepared with lots of fun things to play with during the shoot - pinwheels, bubbles, eggs filled with confetti and to finish things off, a stop at the farmer's market for some cider doughnuts.

What do I do during a newborn shoot when the baby is being fed, changed or is otherwise occupied? If there are siblings around, there's opportunity to focus the camera on them. No siblings? Stuffed animals do in a pinch. When you're not looking, I might also raid your kitchen for Oreos. Heh, heh, you know you have some hidden somewhere.

Every kid loves the song from Frozen. We sang it at full volume, picturing ourselves on that icy mountain in a sparkly blue dress. The best part was belting "THE PAST IS IN THE PAST!" Words to live by...as kindergarten approaches.
How about Downtown? | brooklyn family photographer
I wouldn't have thought of it. But when this family suggested their downtown Brooklyn neighborhood as the location for our session, I became crazy excited. Some really fun street art and interesting corners to discover. Highly recommend if you're looking for something urban and off the beaten path.
