With a new little one on the way, it won't be long before those awesome lego creations are a pile of pieces destroyed by the new kid. Mom and dad had the presence of mind to capture life and the blissful ignorance of the soon to be older brother.
We had been fortunate this fall with weekends of warm, pleasant days. Then this Sunday happened, and it got really cold, really quickly. Out came the warmer coats and the red noses and a family undeterred by a drop in temperature.

We waited a long time for fall colors to hit New York City this year. Warmer temperatures kept the trees green longer than usual, which is a mixed blessing for photo shoots. The good news is that regardless of the backdrop nature provides, what's in the foreground always steals the show. We managed to find a few colorful trees along this stretch in Riverside Drive.
