What started out as a not so happy face turned into a huge bowlful of giggles as soon as the top of the playground slide was well underfoot. This blue-eyed lovely could have easily spent the whole day monkeying around on the playground staple. If only I can figure out how to get Mom and Dad to install one in our apartment, she's quietly thinking to herself...
I'm convinced that this kid never has a bad day. I kind of wanted to take him home. During our shoot he took his first steps right towards the camera. If I wasn't enamored by that point, this certainly sealed the deal.
The idea of being a kid in New York City can sound pretty confining. No back yards or front lawns to run around in. No blocks sleepy enough to play kick ball in the street. Thankfully as a toddler, all you really need is a few square feet of a foreign surface to be instantly entertained. Turns out that's sometimes all a photographer needs as well.
