I've had a run of sessions that were interrupted by rain. Always bring an umbrella for spring shoots! We managed a few before the downpour started and then folded for another day. These parents were unfazed - with kiddos as animated as these, who cares about the weather!

Locking eyes with a small child always catches me a bit off guard. Kids will really look at you, deep into your eyes without any of the self-conscious strangeness sometimes felt with adults. It's that little bit of magic that lives within kids. I'm crazy for it.
