Sometimes you need a little time in both places.
Two months | brooklyn newborn photographer
Should you take newborn photos at 8 weeks old? A resounding yesssssssssss.
The last of fall | fort greene family photographer
With winter solstice steadily approaching, some last glimpses of fall. And I was surprised to still see so much color in later November. Thank you Fort Greene Park!
What to expect | brooklyn newborn photographer
I never know what to expect. Every time I work with a family I haven’t met before, (and sometimes even with those those that I have) I walk into a dynamic that is unpredictable. Everyone is different. Kids are different. The same kids are different depending on the day (or minute). It’s what makes family photography both challenging and incredible rewarding. I get so excited when I spend time with a family and we cycle through so many different types of experiences and emotions. When you get to witness love, frustration, curiosity, adoration, calm, chaos, and all that makes us human. It’s a pretty special thing.
Turn a different corner | dumbo family photographer
So you want to hold a family photo session in Dumbo. You and the thousands of other families, couples, birthday kids, fashionistas, bloggers, and deep-pocketed commercial producers. It’s popular. That goes unsaid. But Dumbo has so much to offer that’s also off the beaten path. If you’re willing to walk down a completely unpopulated street, you might find some surprises. You know this guy? He’s got a mural in Dumbo now, but it’s not at the waterfront (wink).
