I'm embarking on some experiments this year. Trying some new things. One is a series I'm calling Mornings With...I'm spending three mornings with three Brooklyn families, documenting their time together during the lazy weekend hours after they wake up. I'm enjoying this project immensely. Here is the first family I worked with. I'm breaking up this post into two parts.

I love when parents just let their kids be.
And that's a wrap! | brooklyn family photographer
This is my last session of the year. Thank you to all the families who have invited me along for a small glimpse of your lives together. Thank you for having me in your homes, for showing me your neighborhoods, and for letting your guards down. It's been an honor to work with you.
I Love Carroll Gardens | brooklyn family photography
Taking in the neighborhood, one of my favorite ways to capture a family.

It might drive the parents nuts, but I actually like it when the kids veer towards the rambunctious. Also, is there anywhere on the planet where fall lasts forever?
